First of 2023
I had the chance to take a couple days to myself and make some new work, roaming neighborhoods in San Diego. Getting used to shooting more digital with the X Pro 2, as the film prices are still obnoxiously rising at an unbelievable rate. I spent these couple of days working on shooting the Fuji at a faster speed, that I’m more familiar with when shooting film. Shooting digital gives me the opportunity to see what I’ve shot immediately, and because of that, I tend to geek out on working the scene in a playful manner a little bit too much, and wasting plenty of time while its usually the first or second frame (my initial intuition) I go with anyways. Im going to share some of the work made on Jan 9-10 below, some of it not as good as others, but I do really appreciate several of the frames.
All photographs were shot with Fujifilm’s X pro 2 and a 27mm lens.
